How It Works
Should you need assistance or help, pressing your medical alert button will put you in touch with the Caring Responders Monitoring Center. A trained operator will answer the call and immediately assess the situation. In the case of an emergency, the operator will immediately summon professional help. If your situation is a non-emergency, the operator calls one of your pre-determined responders, which could be a family member, neighbor or friend, to assist you.
Step 1: If you need help, just press your medical alert button (also available with Auto-Fall Detection). A signal will then be sent to our Monitoring Center.
Step 2: Within moments of pressing your medical alert button, a trained operator will speak to you over the two-way voice box to ask if you need help. The operator has access to your profile, which contains the contact information for your local emergency services and your friends and family, so you receive exactly the type of help you need. If you are unable to respond for any reason, emergency personnel or your contacts will be automatically dispatched.
Step 3: Help is on the way! Our operator will stay on the line with you until help arrives.
The Pendant may be worn on your wrist like a watch, as a pendant/necklace or on a belt clip. You should wear your medical alert button at all times, it is waterproof up to 3 feet and may be worn in the shower or bath.
